FBO AvCenter
The Airport within the Airport

There’s no question that FBO AvCenter-PIT is one of the nation’s most sophisticated FBOs. In business since 1989 and in the new building since 2001, FBO AvCenter-PIT is 11,000 square feet of ultra-modern, amenityloaded operations, with a huge 30 ft. curved sky light running the length of the lobby. And itsstrategic location at Pittsburgh International Airport puts travelers minutes from downtown.

From a state-of-the-art ramp, deicing system, and complete line including aircraft maintenance service to its comprehensive Business Aviation Center, this all new facility has taken service to the corporate traveler up to the next standard of excellence, and will be a benchmark for other big-city FBO’s across the country.

AvCenter-PIT’s friendly and experienced staff will handle all your needs promptly, whether for quick turn refueling, ground handling, weather briefing, specialty cargo handling, courtesy shuttle service, or on-site car rental.

Executive travelers are pampered by a private snooze area with bath, exercise room, and a private secure entrance. Business is conducted in two large conference rooms with a VIP suite. The business center is equipped with computers, printers, copiers, internet access, including wireless internet, and credit card phones. Other amenities include gourmet in-flight catering, on-site café, lodging, limo reservations, and US Customs.

Avfuel won their business at a national trade show. Relates, John L. Carlen, AvCenter’s General Manager, “A few years ago, we participated in the AOPA convention in Atlantic City with Pittsburgh personnel working the line. Avfuel was superb in offering their assistance with trucks and a way to provide
quality fueling at the AOPA show. And even now, their staff is always eager to keep me
abreast of current fuel prices, which assists greatly in managing my fuel farm.”

Pittsburgh is one of the country’s most delightful surprises. No longer the dirty steel town of old, Pittsburgh is now a true renaissance city with modern buildings and Old World charms.
